Prenuptial Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter "Party 1") and _______________________ (hereafter "Party 2"), hereby agree to the following:

Both parties swear and attest that they are legally single and desirous of wedding each other in the course of the next {amount of time}, and that neither of them is bringing offspring into the marriage.

Both parties receive sufficient income to support themselves. As such, each party will remain the sole legal owners of their individual income (including bonuses, assets, tips, and stocks). Each party may control, invest, reinvest, gift, donate, or save any or all of their individual income at their own discretion for any venture and at any time, requiring their sole signature and agreement.

The parties receive shared income from {venture}. In the event of the dissolution of the marriage, the venture will be {dissolved/sold to a third party with the assets and income divided equally/sold to Party {X} for a total of {amount}, etc.}.

Both parties will enter into this marriage with individually owned property. Party 1 owns property at {address(es)} and Party 2 owns property at {address(es)}. The two parties will maintain sole control over their individual properties and be held entirely and solely responsible for maintenance, upkeep, mortgage, licensing, and taxes. They shall remain free and unencumbered in renting, selling, gifting, donating, and modifying the property as they each see fit.

The two parties maintain joint interest and residency at the following property: {Address(es)}. In the event of the dissolution of the marriage, the property will be {sold to a third party with the money divided equally/sold to Party {X} for {amount}, etc.}.

Both parties will enter into this marriage with individual bank, credit, and investment accounts. Each party will maintain sole and exclusive ownership and control over these accounts, to invest, reinvest, withdraw, deposit, gift, donate, and exchange as they each see fit, with no approval or discussion required of the other party. All debts and loans associated with these accounts shall be considered the individual party's sole responsibility.

The two parties maintain shared investments and credit in the following accounts: {accounts}. In the event of the dissolution of the marriage, the accounts shall be distributed as follows: {division plan}. Shared debts and loans shall be paid off in the following manner: {division plan}.

Any other assets (including vehicles, jewelry, cash, stocks, bonds, electronics, equipment, furniture, heirlooms, etc.) owned by the individual parties before the solemnizing of the marriage shall be considered the sole and legal property of said individual. Any other assets purchased or received as a joint asset shall be divided up in the following manner in the event of the dissolution of the marriage: {division plan}.

The two parties hereby relinquish the right to challenge the other's will or to sue for the right of inheritance. Nothing in this agreement precludes one party from naming the other as a beneficiary in their life insurance or Last Will and Testament.

The two parties agree to negotiate and modify this agreement in the event that the couple has children or either party becomes disabled, unemployed, or chronically ill. The two parties agree to negotiate and modify this agreement through friendly negotiations before involving outside legal parties.

This agreement will not go into effect until the two parties have legally solemnized their marriage vows.
