Co-Marketing Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter “Business Owner 1”), owner of {business name and type}, and _______________________ (hereafter “Business Owner 2”), {business name and type}, hereby agree to the following:

Beginning {date} and ending on {date, if any} the Business Owners agree to enter a Co-Marketing Agreement to the mutual benefit of their businesses.

INTENT

The business owners agree that such an Agreement is beneficial for the following reasons:

• The complementary nature of our {products/services} mean that we have a shared target audience. By leveraging our customer bases, we can expand our audience.
• We can pool funds for advertising buys and placement in print, broadcast, and online media. Similarly, we can do a joint “buy in” for direct mail and other venues, or sponsor events, sports teams, and so on. We can also seek press coverage that would include both businesses.
• Because each Business is a trusted brand, partnering in this manner with enhance credibility for both parties.
• Each Business Owner has a different set of strengths, and combining these intellectual resources can enhance growth along with exposure.
• We can collaborate on ads, social media content, and other costly or labor-intensive graphic design or promotional projects.
• We can pool our funds for market research and other initiatives to grow our respective businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Owner 1 shall be responsible for {task, task, task, and task}.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

The Business Owners shall together engage in the following types of activities:

FINANCIAL AND STAFF TIME COMMITMENT
