This contract between {Child's Name}, hereafter known as "Child," and {Parents' Names}, hereafter known as "Parents," covers the guidelines for harmonious living between an adult child and {his/her} parents.

Child will move back into {his/her} room on {date}. Child will find a job no later than {date}.

Child will be expected to find {his/her} own lodgings by {date}.

Child will pay {$} for rent, {$} for groceries, and {$} for utilities that include water, heat, electricity, internet, and cable.

Child will make dinner at least {#} nights per week.

Child will be responsible for {his/her} own laundry, keeping common areas clean, and washing up dishes after use.

Child may keep {his/her} own hours but will be expected to keep noise to a minimum after {hours} and before {hours}.

Child will be expected to contribute to household chores in the following ways: {list of chores}

Child must clear overnight guests with Parents first.

Parents will not enter Child's room or privacy without permission.

Parents will not make social demands from Child concerning family events or activities.

Parents will not dictate Child's screen time or time spent out of the house.

Parent and Child will divide use of the family car and the cost of fuel as necessary.
